Installing door handle
Is there a little trick or something on installing door handle to the
inside door opening control ? I had to replace the inside door opening
control on the left side . Tried it with door panel on first. Then with the
panel off tried sliding the panel over the attached door handle It got me talking to myself a lot more than I normally do- I might add . I would appreciate any help or ideas . I replaced the right side with very little problems . Thanks in advance . . .

If you try to slide the handle in place with the door panel on you run the risk of breaking the slots in the new door opening control. I install the handle and then the door panel,I have a loop I put around the handle to pull it out far enough to slide the door panel over it.

That will do it. Or, if you have long, thin arms, you can reach in from the front end of the panel and use fingers [behind the lever] to push the end of the handle through the inner panel. {I like the "loop" idea above.}
