I posted this in the C2 forum as well and haven't received a response so I thought I would post here as well. I figure anyone who can set up a C2 should be able to set up a C2. . . I am located in Northern Delaware. Does anyone have any good experiences with getting your C2 alligned near my general area? I have put on a full VBP front and rear suspension with offset trailing arms and I would like to get it set up somewhere that knows what they are doing.
I just took mine to a local Goodyear shop. I know they don't do a lot of these suspensions, but the head mechanic was familiar with the T/A shims and has done some old vettes. I took in my specs along with other instructions as to what I wanted. I set mine up for Advanced Street (per VanSteel's specs) which is a good compromise between best tire wear and max performance (track). Depends on how you are going to drive it. They were not able to get it dialed in to my specs and told me I needed offset shafts for the front upper control arms. I bought some, but still need to install and take back to the shop.
