Default AC Question

I've converted my 71 vert to 134 with a Sanden compressor. I've also installed a C4 fan. I'm trying to optimize performance and the question is - where should the Receiver/dryer be located? I could make it fit alongside the evap case (very tight fit), in place of the overflowtank, behind the radiator to the side, in front of the radiator.

Suggestions appreciated - I've got to cool this baby down so I can drive it during the Austin summer.....

Thanks.

Big fan but have to admit that the better team won the CWS. You simply cannot make errors at that level and expect to win....

'72 has it mounted next to the condensor on the front lower right side (passenger) of the radiator support. I would think '71 would be the same.

In my '73 I changed the evaporator to an '82 model. This will give you an accumulator system. You also need the orifce tube. The accumulator (like dryer) fit in to the old systems bracket on the side of the evaporator case.
I have a Sanden, C4 fan and 134 too.
But I never got the performance I wanted until I added a new crossflow condensor. Once that was in I have temps to freeze you out of there.
