Blower Motor
I have a 76 and when I turn the A/C control to high, the blower goes off. I have replaced the switch, relay and resistor. I have read there is suppose to be a fuse on a orange wire near the brake booster. I dont have such a fuse. HELP!!!!! Please

At the relay I just noticed I dont have a orange wire. There is a small blue wire at the top and the the bottom(3) there is a Big purple and a big blue wire. There is a empty space with nothing in it.

I think im getting somewhere. Im the slot where the wire is missing, I ran a hot wire to it and my blower came on, even with the engine off. I turn the engine on and starte playing around with the low and med and they are not working.

I'm working with this problem too on my 72. From what I have gathered and understand the setting low, med, and med high are on one power source and then the high setting has it's own source which comes through off the horn relay. Off the horn relay there should be a large orange wire that is just to the side of the brake reservoir where it has a glass tube type of fuse, then from there it turns to a large red wire that run along the firewall to the A/C relay. Hope this helps you.
