Default Steering wheel play

What should I look into if my steering wheel has a lot of play?
I have a stock column but it ties into a VBP rack and pinion underneath.
I installed it a couple of years ago and after the alignment it was fine, now something must have vibrated loose but I cant find anything.
What should I look for?

Call VB&P and talk to their tech dept. Outer tie rod ends loose or worn out? The union where the rack meets the steering column. The actual mounting of the rack loose. The screws that secure the steering wheel to the hub.

I have the same problem. get somebody to wiggle the Wheel back and forth wile Your underneith. I'll bet that the bottom bearing in the steering Column is shot and thats allowing the U-Joints for the Steeroids to move around.
