Default Question about Zaino.

Ok. So after waxing the car it looks beautiful. I used the special Zaino soap to wash the car also. But a few days ago when I used the soap it left a white residue all over the body and the paint looks really dull. I don't think the soap had a wax additive so I can't figure out where the white is from.

Is it possible that you used too much of the Zaino soap? When I wash the dishes in the dishwasher and put too much soap in they sometimes come out with a white film on them.

How about your water?
Did you dry the car after you rinsed it?
Some water has very high mineral content and will spot horribly.
I've been pretty happy getting the majority of the water off of my car with a California Water Blade and the rest with a towel.

I always dry it really good with the chamois. I probably used too much.

Just to clarify....by waxing do you mean Zaino polish or did you use wax and then use Zaino to wash it. If you are really into maintaining the paint I would recommend throwing all your chamois in a big bonfire. They hold dirt which will scratch your paint. Use only 100% USA made white cotton towels and follow up with the Zaino spray. Some tips I have learned are to remove the nozzle on the hose after washing and run a steady stream of water over the car and most of the water will run right off. I usually follow up with a leaf blower and you hardly have to wipe the car at all. I know it sounds a bit much but we are talkiing about your pride and joy....right? :yesnod:

I don't know anything about Zaino, (except it's over priced), but some polishes or waxes require a 36 hour curing time before washing with soap. It's OK to wash with just water. If Zaino is like tis and you washed it before it cured, it will cause the problem you're talking about.
