As a rule I keep my Corvette in a garage, but at the moment I have a Camaro torn apart in my garage for a frame-off restoration. I keep the Corvette at a friend's house in the winter months or when several days of bad weather are in the forecast, but if I want to drive it for a few days right now it must sleep outside at night. I'd like to protect it with a car cover during these times.
Keeping it covered when in a garage is easy- flannel sheets bought from Goodwill do just fine- but not a good option outside.
What experiences can you share- especially recommendations- for an outdoor car cover?
I have wolf that I bought from Mid America but you can buy them direct http://www.wolfautocovers.com/ and it's a good cover and they have a wide variety of covers.
I have the same if not similar flannel cover. It is terrific. Probably the best cover I have ever owned. Indoor use only. It's not made to get wet. Never puts a scratch on the car. Fits like a glove. Covers the car down just about to the rocker covers and about 3/4 of the way down the wheel. Has built in pockets for both side view mirrors too. Check out their site for one that will handle the elements. I would buy a Wolf cover again for sure.
