I tried flipping it and a little blue light came on the tip of the switch. I don't think it does anything. Thanks for the responses, I wasn't sure if I wanted to flip it or not.
you may want to trace and see what its connected to. if its something that should be on and isnt it could be safety issue if its something that is on already and shouldn't be could be a fire or battery drainage problem. no corvette had any switch mounted to the lower column.
The EJECTOR SEAT! Make sure it is set to the passenger side and the top is off before testing! Two switches, I can think of offhand, the 4way emergency flashers (below the ignition key) or if it is further up below the column where it enters the dash and your Vette is a 68-72, the round **** is for the windshield wiper motor cut-off to allow changing wiper blades.

No factory switch had a blue light in it, someones put it there. Now you have to figure out what it does, or used to do.
