Distributor Came Defective From Summit..
That is poor customer service! :( I thought Summit was usually better than that.
When I have gotten wrong parts or bad parts the company typically sends out the right one!! I take the new/good one out of the box, put the bad one in, and call them for the UPS pickup. I really dont understand why they didnt just immediately send you a new distributor.
That is how Gateway replaced a bad monitor (after 2 years).
I got an exhaust pipe from Zip that didnt fit on my car. They put me in touch with the manufacturer. He had me take measurements so he could custom-make me a pipe that would fit. He had the new one to me in 3 biz days. He asked me BTW to pls send him back the old one that didnt fit, of course Zip paid the shipping. How's that for customer service??? You deserve no less.
