700R4 Speedo gear issue HELP!
Long time reader, first time posting!!
I have a restored 78. Last year I installed a brand new DTS rear end with a 3:55 ratio. I found that I couldn't travel down the highway under 3K RPMS. So after reading several posts, I decided to have a my original turbo 350 transmission swapped to a 700R4. Now the guy is asking how many TEETH to the correct speedo gear to match this 3:55 ratio. Of course the green speedo gear I purchased for the turbo 350 doesn't fit the 700R4 trans its too small. Can anyone help? Have I posted enough information? I'm trying to keep the mph as exact as possible. Many Thanks, Randy.
