Probably trash but wondering if anyone has had the same problem. Stock Q-jet on 1974 model 350. I pulled the line that was previously spliced and tried to chack fuel pressure. The line in to the carb is blocked and I can't blow through it with lung power. I am just wondering if I am going to need to pulled the carb apart or if anyone has any secrets.
Are you certain that the filter was installed properly? If so, then you should remove the carb and disassemble it far enough to find a 'blockage'. If the carb has been untouched for many years, do a complete rebuild. In any event, you need to locate and correct whatever is causing the blockage of fuel flow.
