Default radiator question

1969 small block, no a/c, 4 speed. i just ordered a dewitt alum radiator, should be here soon. noticed in picture, a kink in lower neck, is that for clearing the cradle on the core support. im almost finished with the frame off, changed the core support due to damage, previous mods...etc. now my radiator will not fit. my radiator does not have this "kink" and is hitting the cradle. my old core support i noticed someone cut the cradle off and welded it back on in different spot to solve this problem. i hope new alum rad fits. any info?

Mine has the kink, but I have A/C, so my car has the larger radiator with no expansion tank. The kink clears the sway bar. If you got technical help from Tom, don't worry, he'll get you what you need.
If you're not sure, send Tom a PM or email.
