wiper door help
I've been following the CCrane thread on wiper door problem and think I have figured out my problem as well. I recently started trying to do some vac repairs on my system. Don't laugh, but before I started, all worked well. However, the override switches were by passed. I went down to NAPA, got some hose and started checking the routing of all hoses. I "thought" I noticed that there were no hoses attached to the wiper park switch. Anyhow, after hooking all hoses and checking them twice, the right head light would not close when I killed the engine (would shut with engine running) and the wiper door opened and would never close. I found the headlight problem under the dash ( a T without a hose). I ran the test in the CCarne thread whereby I bypassed the wiper park switch and the cover would open and shut with the override. My question is this, does this definetly mean the switch is bad and for the electrical override switch for the wipers, which way is off (clockwise or counter clockwise).
Thanks,

When the switch **** is turned clockwise (toward the front of the car) the wipers are active. When you turn it counter clockwise it stops the wipers in place, or it prevents the wipers from operating if they're in the park position.
