Wiring Questions
I was wondering if anyone could give me tips as to why none of my guages work except the clock. My speedo and tach do work. I just recently got the car running/driving and did my best hooking the guages up. According to my schematic the oil pressure wire is blue. I dont see a blue wire but a short green one with female connector. Unless it faded to a green this isnt my wire. I hooked a long green one coming from the alternator harness to the temp sender on the head. I do not see any wire for the intake coolant temp sensor. Also in the past when i first hooked a battery to the car and started checking the electrical , i remember the brake light and battery idiot lights would light up with the ignitoin forward, now nothing. I lowered the sterring colum and removed the screws to the dash but speedometer cable is preventing me from getting a good look (wanted to pull bulbs and check) . One thing i should add, when i turn the lights on , the guage lights do work. Also one more thing , theres a cut white wire near the distributor i dont see it on the schematic. Any help greatly appreciated. If i get any of this figured out , ill get into how the wipers and heat/blower motor dont work. thanks!

For the wipers and heater blower, there is a black ground wire near the starter that mistakenly gets hooked up to the battery terminal instead of being grounded to one of the bell housing bolts.
