Be sure and check the clearance between the upper rod bolt boss corner from the lobes of the camshaft. It looks like you may have to clearance those rods for cam clearance.
The rods are machined for clearance at the big end that might contact the cam. I will check this.

For a 383, I thought this would work well. the lifts are below .500. The cam will provide a good idle and sustain vacuum operated accesories. I want to build a mild performance motor. My understanding is that a duration @ .050 of at least 230 is what is required for a 383.
Do you have something better? Any input is greatly appreciated.
