Help..1982 Owners!!
I see the 82 I just purchased doesn't qualitfy for classic car insurance..What are you currently doing for insurance?? Blue book value YIKES!!!!!!!!!

IT SHOULD!!!! I have my insurance through condon and skelly, 20 yr old minimum. But there are many others like Hagerty, and American Classic. One of them I am sure only has a 15 yr old minimum.

I had my 79 with hagerty I just called them and they took my 82..which is now 20 years old!!!!
with 22640 miles on it to date 2 owners,,the guy who put 22635 on it and me. All documented back to original owner, even got the dealer Invoice and evey years NJ inspection certificates plus insurance cards...T Top covers have never been used. Owners manual/ radio manual..this puppy came loaded with all the opts and I got all the paper work..

I also use Grundy and have had no problems. 40,000 miles here with all documentation from birth including the original sales order invoice, title etc. I am the 2nd owner.

I already had several cars with State Farm, so I listed my 82 as a "Pleasure craft". Reduced rates for that classification.
I ran into the problem of not have mine stored in a garage with the other companies...
