Ignition Swith Stuck
Ok, another problem. The ignition swith would not engage starter. Turned it toward the off but it won't go into the off position so that I can remove key. Suggestions?

I just HATE it when that happens! Fixed my 69 with a welder. Little tiny tack on the arm to the mast jacket, sawed the arm off and no more problem.

Turns out it is more than the cable. The lock mechanism is messed up and will have to be relplaced. So.....the usual scenario starts to unwind, since it is apart I should go ahead and repaint it and fix the horn button, oh ya and since it is only a $16 part let's put in a new starter swith and with the column dropped I can put in a new rag joint. I think I have been down this road before.
