Hi DJC,
Yes, a little weekend's work needed there!
Good Luck!
Regards,
Alan
PS: Is that a dry-wall screw peeking out on the left?
yeah, when I had some 6x9's installed in the back, the guy really didn't pay attention to what he was doing. I'm going to pull those screws and insert some bolts. I was highly ticked off when I saw those, at least the shop was cool about it, they refunded the labor costs on the install, which was for a cd player, amp, front and rear speakers. I got back about $300.
I hope the # 4 mount bracket does not have to be replaced. when i took out the body mount bolt to replace the #4 body mount reinforcement. i noticed that the #4 body mount bracket was very thin. good luck
Would you really have to remove all that stuff listed just to replace a mount like that? I thought the body only had to go up a inch or two.
Depends on how bad the frame and rocker channel are. In my case I had to weld in new metal on both. It looks like the reinforcment on your car is bad so you need to check all the mounts. If the metal is still in good shape and the bolts come out without to much trouble then you can get away with just lifting/jacking up one side at atime and then you will not have to take apart as much. I would still disconnect the steering rag joint and unbolt the bumper brackets.
