Default 1973 Corvette fuel filter

i have a 1973 corvette that keeps dying on me. the car was not getting enough gas, so i replaced the fuel pump. that didn't help much, and the gas tank is rusted, so i blew air back through the gas line and blew the sock off. that helped a little, but now the car doesn't run for very long. i was wondering if there is another fuel filter under the car that could be plugged up? or if not, does anyone have any ideas what could be wrong with the car?

If your car still has a Quadrajet, the filter is in the carb where the fuel lines goes in. Remove the 5/8 fuel line fitting and then use a 1" wrench to remove the filter housing.

Be sure to hold the big nut while you loosen the flare nut on the gas line so you don't twist the line.
