Default Dimmer Switch

How do you check the dimmer switch on a 68 vette. Rear lights work fine, well they light and blink not as bright as i would prefer. Front lights do nto come on. The light in the dash reads as if the brights are on all the time.

Pull the 3 wire connector off the dimmer and check the blue wire for power with the headlights on. If you have power on the blue then jumper the blue to the tan and then the green.

You might have a ground missing to the front lights. Check the headlight connectors for power and then the black wires for ground.

checked front lights for power and nothing. did notice one of the blacks coming out of the bulb connector is split in half. will fix it next chance, also noticed there was a ground wire on the side of the radator mount intact.

Now you will have to find the green and tan at the engine side of the bulkhead connector and check for power there.
