I have been reading true a lots of posts. And i wish i had heard abaout willcox when i ordered my new wiper motor.
But anyway. I am pretty sure the reason i cant get my motor working is my understanding and not the motor.
is it possible to explain to me how to test my motor before i mont it. From a to b. I have tryed to test it. (but i only get it to go one round before it jams. i)
Also the new motor dont looks like the old one. The connectors for the harness is located in a different location. What years is simular? What is the difference on the motors true the years?
ive been having alot of problems lately with my wiper motor as well. What year is the car, and what are the symptoms of the motor. Willcox has an excellent test for the motor to see if it works correctly or not. Check it out first, it will eliminate alot of things.

It is a 73. And i think that the 73 motor is different from erlier years. (not sure)
On the motor in the car, the plastic parts was cracked and springs missing. so no doubt there.
The ting is, that i wanted to test my new motor before putting it in. And i only got it to go one round, before it jammed. So i need some inputs on the testing of the motor. And some explaining of the function of the wiper system in general.
This is a quick pic that shows how to wire it up for 73 and newer. I put this picture up on the repair help side of the site too! Here is the link if you want to book mark it. http://willcoxcorvette.com/repairand...lp.php?hID=285

The new one is working as it is supposed to. The old one is toasted (mecanical damage) as i new.
The "problem is that the new one dont look like the old one. Do you have a mail adress, so i can send you the pictures i have taken.
Some questions when you have looked at the pictures.
1. Do you see any problem with using the new one? (I cant see anything different than the location of the contact)
2. The "cover" on the old motor fit on the new one, but look ugly because it does not cover around the contact. Do you have a cover that will fit the new motor better?
3. My wires to the motor are black, yellow and blue. yellow is the middle one +. But witch one is where when connected in the car? (joust so i get it right on the first time)
AND A BIG THANK YOU FOR THE TESTING PROCEDURE, I KNOW WHERE I WILL BUY MY PARTS FROM IN THE FUTURE!!

Stupid me tested with so long wires, that i did not get enough amp.
Who ever sold you this motor sold you one for a 1974 and newer car. The wiper motor you sent me pictures of marked New is not a 1973 motor. This is a commonly made mistake. The 1973 Motor was a one of motor.
To use the motor you have should not cause you a problem.
The issue will be the washer pump. You will need to purchase a washer pump from a 1974 or newer car that has the slot in it for the terminals to pass thru.
