my vette seems to run hot(I know they usually do)but for example when on a smog dyno i will hit about 218 degrees due to lack of air flow.I am looking to replace my stock fan with dual electricals. any suggestions on a good brand or setup?I was leaning towards dual 12"
If your stock set up is in good working condition (radiator, seals, fan clutch, etc), you'll be fine except in extreme conditions. If it's 110 in the shade and you're stuck in traffic, running warmer than normal can be expected.

218 is getting up there i think. i wouldnt want to be sitting on that all the time. if everything is working in good order as it should i dont think you should even see 200. if your temp stays down on highway while cruising but doesnt cope when sitting still then your problem is in your fan and shroud. if you do go electric i like spal 16. one 16 pulls more air then 2 x 12,s
A rad. shop can rod out the rad.- that may be all it needs. Sometimes this needs to be done after 10+ yrs. El. fan won't help if rad. is too clogged up.
Fan clutch is another possibility. You could state your high temp. when driving incl. conditions.
