Default heat barrier

where do u purchase reflectics,i was told home depot or lowes. where??? as in what department? needing to get car done before carpet install..thanks in advance...

Bought mine @ Lowes for sure, don't know about Home Depot. Get the sealing tape to seal it all up works great. ED

I've only found it at Home Depot...not at Lowe's. Again, at the heating/insulation department. It was made for insulation under crawl spaces and under manufactured homes. Also pick up a can of 3M spray adhesive and a roll of aluminum foil tape (not duct tape) to complete the job. Use just a little spray adhesive to stick the Reflectix down; then cover all joints with the tape. Make sure you get as high up the firewall as you can and under all the components on the tranny hump. That's a big source for cabin heat.

No need to do the storage compartment...at least because of heating problems. No heat there.

Thanks for the info, i found it. also purchased the glue and foil tape. it turned out great!!! i insulated to the factory insulation on the firewall is that for enough up???
