Default 1970 Convertible Door Lock Pillar

Hi Vette Folks,

I am assembling my 70 Convertible after a long restoration. The car was well worn, and most of the rubber parts were long gone. I am having some trouble with the door lock pillar rubbers/seals. I am talking about the rubber seal and wedge that mounts on top of the door lock pillar (not the door itself) and just in front of the the deck lid.

Although I have an assembly manual, i am still struggling with how these pieces fit and what they should look like - specially since mine had to be re-build due to damaged fibreglass.

Can anyone with an original convertible of this era post a picture of this area of their car. I spent a day going through hundreds of old vette magazines, but they never seem to take photos with the doors open from an angle that shows this area. How inconsiderate

Thanks all.

BB
