I have a original black plastic one from a 78. Is that the same as for a 76?

This topic comes up every once in a while.
There is a company that makes cool lighted standard shift ***** and they are supposed to be coming out with one for an automatic (button)

I too am interested in getting one and as a matter a fact just went to they're website and e-mailed them about it. If we all e-mail them and let them know were really interested maybe they might do something. What do ya say.

15 to 20 years ago all the vette mail order companies carried them. They were nice looking wood and you could buy your year logo button, star burst, crossed flags etc, that you glued into a recess in the button. They were very nice looking. Mine just broke recently. Had to dig out my old stock black one.

I got the shifter from sprint in the mail...it looks sweet...first rate work.
I can't wait to get it in...I also have a new shift boot so the interior is slowly getting dressed up...not just to get all the stuff in !! :cheers:

I e-mailed the folks at Flameball as well to see what the deal was on their shifters. Hopefully they have one that's compatible for C3's, that would be sweet :cool: :cool: :cool: :cool: :cool: :cool: :cool: :cool: :cool: :cool:
