Too bad GM never thought of making the rear window removable. I'm sure there's place under the rear deck to stow it on a shelf or something.

My rear window was curved. Well, it was flat, then it was curved and then flat again. Here is the story.

While I was replacing the carpet, I removed all the interior plastic trim. The bezel around the rear window was cracked and in 6 or 8 pieces so that got removed as well. At the end of the day, I covered the car, closed up the garage and went inside for dinner.

The next morning I uncovered the car and noticed my rear window was missing. I looked inside expecting to see a pile of broken glass but instead I saw the window nicely balanced on the tire humps. The glass had quite a curve where it was drooping in the center.

I carefully picked up the piece, thanked my guardian angel and waited for Willcox to send me a new window bezel. The window is now flat again.
