I just visited someone doing a Borgeson steering box conversion because I'm thinking about doing one. He told me that to jack up the front end he placed the jack under the front bumper and used the loop there (it looks like where you would hook a tow line) as a jack point.
I questioned using that point and he said he has done it many times with no problems. Once he gets it raised he puts it on jackstands under the frame. Is this a safe way to raise the front end? I'm relatively new to vettes, but I've never heard of this.
