Aftermarket Pulley Alignment
I may need to shim out the bracket but I find that there is a arm support that goes back to the motor mount and bolts up there. Thus I cant move the bracket out and still use the arm going to the motor mount.
Has anyone had this problem to deal with,,,,if so, did you use a after market bracket and if you did, what is it and where did you get it???
I was also wondering if I could just leave the arm un-bolted would that work.
Thanks
1 two groove pulley
1 single groove pulley (this one gos inside the two groove for power steering pump operation.
if you have to fix it to work other than this way here is what i would do.
shim the bracket out to where you need it to work
then cut the arm that bolts to the moter mount
now bolt the two peices back on the block and measure the gap between them and weld a peice of metal to it and make sure this is not going to interfear with nothing else around this area.
another thing to check before doing this is power steering line lenght they might not reach the cylinder if you bring it out a long ways check this.
