I have plenty of fuel getting to my Quadrajet, but nothing into the carb itself. Any ideas?
I took off the inlet to the carb and pumped fuel into a jar so I know fuel pump is working. No matter how much I pump the accelerator the fuel will not get into the carb.
After the inlet the first place fuel goes is the needle and seat controlled by the float. Try light compressed air in the inlet to see if you can dislodge a chunk of something in the needle and seat assy. What does the overall condition of the carb look like inside and out? I would bet it has been a long time since a rebuilt.
Depending on your skill level. Your accelerator pump may be dired out and not working...or you have so much crap on the inside bowl area...that fuel can not get to where it needs to. IF you know how...remove the top plate...carefully and do a visual on what is going on inside the carb.
If you want help in walking you through removing the top plate...call me.
