Very simple actually. It is just glued onto the framework. So, separate with a putty knife or blade of some kind and remove the skin. Bond the new one to the frame.
ok thanks for the help got the door skin off the door last night and have the door frame cleanedup.
i guess it wont hurt to go ahead and rebuild this door with the panel off will it?

i went ahead and bought a used door complete from a salvage yard because my door frame was also missing the spot welded brackets for the arm rest.
my door skin was junk anyway so i took a heat gun and got as much as i could with that it worked pretty good till i got to the area where the outside mirror bolted to the door they glued it onto a bracket inside the door at this point.did not find that out until i cut the panel with my die-grinder.
i found a whole complete door with everything in it for 647.00 this seemed to be the best way for me to go on this with the new door skin costing me 339.00 and the window i had had a chip in it to and then the stipped out holes and no bracket for my armrest to bolt to just seemed better to buy a used door.
