Yes, find a manual frame that is sans-body and measure the location of the bracket. You might even check in the AIM, an accurate measurement may be there.
I would measure from a known point, such as the left side frame motor mount, to get the correct set back and then measure it's horizontal location on the frame. With this method you should be able to use almost any manual frame from '63 up since the relationship of the Z-bar to the motor mount is the same on all of these engines.
The Z-bar pivots on two ball joints to allow for engine movement within the frame, so location is not as precise as you might think. Using the above method should get you as close as you need to be.
All my '73s are autos except for this one that I am changing over to a 6 speed. The closest manual car that I know of is atleast an hour away. Do you have any measurements by any chance?

I can take some very accurate ones this Saturday if that helps. We have two manual chassis in reassembly at this time, but they are half an hour away.
Here are a couple of pictures of the Z-bar attached to my '63 chassis...
I realize they are not as much help without measurements... I will be happy to add measurements this weekend if you'd like.
Here's a some pics of the bracket on my 69 frame.
