Default will this fit?

Quick question.

Will this fit under the hood with the stock Q jet?

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/EDL-7101/

I want to put it on a '77.

Thank you!

I think the fact that it says right on the website "Will not clear stock Corvette hood" should be your first clue. You'll also have issues mating a square bore intake with a spread bore Qjet.

Your right spread bore. Not sure what I was day dreaming about there.

But the '77 has a mid rise hood? That is why I was asking.

The spread bore version for a Q-jet is this one. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/EDL-7104/
Several people on CF are running the Performer RPM intakes under stock hoods, but you will need to use a drop base air filter.
