I just wanted to share some pics of the new fuel line I installed. I followed the paper written by Lars and added a fuel pressure regulator and pressure gauge. The Edelbrock Performer carbs are not supposed to get more than 5 psi of fuel pressure so I added the regulator just in case it was high.
Hey Tom, that looks great. I really like your regulator/gauge setup. I'm getting ready to do mine as well. I could not believe how loose my rubber hose was on the inline filter . . . definitely an accident (and melted vette) waiting to happen. Great upgrade!!!
Blue427, the fuel filter mentioned in Lar's paper I believe is being discontinued. I used AC-Delco part number GF652 as a replacement. It is a fuel filter built for a high pressure fuel line with o-ring seals and threaded connections. (similar to the one used by Lars).
