Horn needs a good whack
My horn needs to be pushed or hit hard to work, it works when I do that, but it seems like it needs a bit too much force.
I have tried removing one of the shims that's in there, but that makes the horn too sensitive/won't turn off.
Any tips on how to find a happy medium better 1 and 2 shims?
Side note: on of the three plastic pins is missing, not sure if that makes a difference.

You need all 3 pins or it won't work correctly.

I have the original steering column (swapped for T&T).
Can those pins be removed and reused?

My horn also needs a good smack to work. What 3 plastic pins are you referring to, and where would we buy them?
Thanks

I think the plastic rivets your asking about are on the horn contact.

Zip and other vendors sell them but another forum member said True Value may have them
PS. Can someone tell me how to post more than 1 picture at a time?
