I had a '67 Camaro with a 327 4sp. and used to rag on it pretty hard and never broke anything but a u-joint ear off ...

How can you expect a clear answer to a question as vague as this?

Yea I'm just curious as I never had a Vette' untill now
there are alot of different varibles than a "regular" car setup....halfshafts , diff., more u-joints , bearings....
Not gonna go out and trash the dang thing ! just stuff to keep an eye on

I would say that's a subjective question, what type of tires do you run?

Are we talking a 190 HP Stock motor or a 435HP Stock motor as they have some different drive line parts and certainly the HP will make a difference. Tires will also make a huge difference.

I would guess that the stock tires would spin before anything else goes, but it depends on a lot of things. I put a ZZ 383 engine in my stock 1980 more than doubling the HP and torque. I am fairly easy on it and have driven 1500 miles with no problems. Eventually I will beef up the rest of the drivetrain, but it is good for now.
