Windshield replacement vert/coupe
I have a 1975 Roadster and just picked up a complete 1975 Coupe parts car. The windshield on the Roadster is not in as good a shape as the Coupe. Will the Coupe windshield fit into the Roadster...are they the same? Thanks, Larry

Eklers lists the windshield for '73-'77 with no mention of whether it's a coupe or convertible.

I wouldn't buy a windshield from one of the corvette supply houses...the glass is readily available from anyone who sells auto glass. I got mine a couple of weeks ago from the local O'Reilly's, shipping included, for $110.

I think the windshield question involves how much like the original you want the new glass to be.
There is a difference in the mfg's logo, date, area and color of tint, and glass thickness to consider. This matters to some people but certainly not to everyone.
There also needs to be care taken in the installation (especially with the thinner glass) so that the glass sits far away from the windshield frame so the SS trim will fit snugly against it.
