t-top latch stop on 73
can someone post a picture of the rear t-top latch on their vette ( 68-76 ) while its on the car.
I need to see what the latch stop screw rest on. My 73 had aftermarket glass tops with just one latch on the front and the pin out the back, but i just bought used original tops with two latches and the rear latch is quite loose and i am not sure where the stop screw rests on.

The tops with one latch and a pin sound like tops from a later year C3. My '79 is set up that way.
I'll take a pic of my '73 latch for you later this afternoon if no one else posts one first. Also, have you checked your AIM for the page that shows how to adjust the tops for fit? That might show the contact points.
The bolt latches against that stop just to the right and above the bolt in pic #1.

Thanks 08vycpe. that makes sense. my vet came with glass tops for the later years and when i bought these original tops i had all the stainless trim pieces off to get ready for paint job so it didn't make senes rightaway.
By the way do you know if the hole in the rear, where the pin goes in for the later tops is used for anything with older tops or not ?
