Default Radiator Cleaner / Flush ..help

Is there anything that you can use to remove the buildup without pulling the radiator and have it rodded out ??

It is not too bad , but what is the best stuff to use that WORKS ?

Prestone used to have a flush kit. FWIW: I've always heard never to reverse flush a C3 heater/defroster core.

GM P/N 12346500 or Prestone P/N AS100 Heavy Duty Cooling System Cleaner.
Prestone made it for GM, same stuff, but now discontinued because of the EPA.

Contents:
9 dry oz of Oxalic Acid (DAP Wood Bleach)
2 dry oz of Sodium Carbonate (Arm & Hammer Super Washing Soda)

It contains no acids and also doesn't clean nearly as well.

Have tried it before.
and before anyone jumps on the damage the radiator thing,
using the original formula, if your radiator leaks, then it was on it's last legs anyway.

P/N crosses over to #88861344

found it here>

The part number is 88861344. This cleaner actually utilizes an acidic cleaner to remove any severe debris from the system and then a neutralizer to stop the acidic cleaner. It is basically a two step cleaner.

When you go to the dealer to get it you will find it is a single 16oz bottle
GM VehicleCare Heavy Duty Cooling System Cleaner

Not nearly as good as the original stuff and it is formulated for Dexcool sludge primarily.

OK Feller's here is the scoop !!!
NOONIE is Correct !!
The stuff I got is the #12346500 , it is in a Yellow Prestone Cardboard Container ...( like a Pringles Chip Can) It has 2 lids , 1 on ea. end > one half contains the Acid the other contains the Neutralizer

It was $ 6.23 after discount and the dealer said last one , on their computer it shows the PN# change
will it be the same stuff ??? they can't tell but probably not as he did not have any either to look at.
I'm working out of town but when I get home I'm going to see if my local dealer can track down some more for future ?
Thanks for the input guys !!
THANK YOU NOONIE !!!
