rear monospring
I am currently in the process of re-doing my suspension and have decided to go with a 360lb composite rear monospring but I cant seem to get it on? I have mounted the center plate and tried jacking up the ends but they still dont match up enough for me to bolt them to the wheels? Does anyone know a better way to do this. It is on a 78, and I have already put on adjustable strut rods and bilstein shocks. Thanks

I am in the middle of this as well, and have found that the 8" shackle bolts are a good place to start. I went with the Hypercoil Ez ride replacement spring, which is supposed to be the equivalent of the factory 9 leaf spring. i also went with the KYB shocks that they recommend for that rear spring. All i can say is get some help and a longer bolt and gently jack it up into place, then adjust the ride height after with the bottom shackle bolt nut.
