Default Technical Shipping Question?

I have a fellow in Norway that wants to buy my 3.08 pumpkin with the cover and side yokes attached. Does anyone know what that assembly weighs?

For extra credit do you know if the US Postal Service will handle an item of that weight to Norway?

I've sent outboard pistons and stuff there a lot via US mail - but never an item of this size.

USPS only ships up to 70lbs.

I can't remember if the rear end was 100lbs or 125lbs and worse yet I don't know if that was with or without the cover.

Gary/ GTR1999 posted the weight a while back, might have included the crate as well. You might want to PM him.

I talked to Gary and we're looking at about 120lbs with cover and packaged.

I know the cover and yokes combine to weigh 22lbs - so removing those do not get us under the magic 70lb USPS limit.
I'm investigating alternate shipping methods now. Fed-Ex wants over $600 via thier cheapest method.
