I have a '73 coupe and just recently, I started to have a drain on the battery or maybe the battery is going bad. Did not do this all summer long. I can not figure how to test for this, so when I hd it t a mech shop, he tested and found nothing wrong. The battery charges up well and seems to hold the charge. Then when I hook it back up, in 2-3 days everything is dead. Any ideas. Thanks

Take the battery for a load test. If that isn't convenient maybe you could fully charge it and let it set for three days without it hooked up. If you hook it up and it doesn't work then the battery probably isn't holding a charge.

If there is a drain and the battery is good, you could always use this a a temp. fix.
