My T/A's do not have factory drilled holes for a rear swabilizer bar.
I'm adding one. Does anyone have a pic of a factory drilled T/A and perhaps a detailed description of hole position? Thanks!
holes are 5/16 with center line same as spring bolt hole, and spaced equally fore and aft of the spring bolt hole. use your mounting bracket as a template, i think the factory holes are 1 3/4 apart.
If you look at any arm with the holes you'll see they are not on center with the large hole, they're all over the place. I have transferred the holes from originals to new arms but the best thing is to get your arms in place and setup the bar and brackets to spot them in place.

Gary, I do agree that is the best thing. But I'm afraid they are getting drilled today, right before they get painted later today.
E-brake stuff tomorrow - bearings last.
So with that in mind, if *you* had to drill them "genericly" for some mail order unknown car, would you drill them:
A: both on dead center, (a little close to hole for my taste)
B: both slightly outboard of center
(I'll note that both inboard of center won't fit in there)

PS: What torque for the 4 spindle support nuts? That's not in the AIM as the factory got T/A assemblies in one piece.

Hi W,
I would center them.
The picture shows a car that didn't have a sway bar but the original t-arms were drilled. A used original swaybar and used original linkage was bought and it all lined up with the existing holes.
