Lower Dash
I am trying to install replacement lower dash pads to the center console. The original dash pads had plastic anchors that held the screws. Anyone have any idea why the replacements do not? Does the screw just go into the side of the dash pad?

Hi S,
The pads on my 71 have a white nylon strip, right under the vinyl, that's part of the pad that the screws from the center gauge bezel screw into where ever they want. Are you seeing those strips?
