help with transmission build...
hello,
I am a new forum member, but I have been lurking for some time. I recently purchased a 74 and my first real task is going to be the stock 4 speed. As it sits now it has a slow leak towards the front on a seal and seems to get hot quicker than it should...is the heat normal? I dont know. The transmission is the only project on this car I intend to pay someone else to do.
My goal in 3 or four years is a 350sb around 400-450 crank hp. With that in mind, I have been searching for info on this transmission and a proper build for such an engine.....and I have not found much. If anyone has any info on a link to read about the transmission I would appreciate it. Any ideas opinions or direction to pursue would be great.
