Camaro T5s can't handle the torque of a 350 engine, so if you plan on driving it hard you're gonna destroy that transmission. This is what they told me when I tried putting in a T5 that I have, off of an 89 Camaro, in my 78 Camaro Z28.

There is alot of stuff on here about doing that conversion. Search for it. I think most of the successful conversions have been done with the World Claas version of the T5. It was used in Mustangs and is stronger than the Camaro version.

The T-5, even the World Class boxes were only rated at 325 torque,with any mods done to a 350sb you will destroy that tranny in no time,Go with a TKO 500 or 600 or a T-56 they are alot more money but after you blow up your t5 several times (cost of tranny,s/and time) You will come out ahead!!
