Dont break the glass what ever you do!

Is the door locked? Have you tried to put the key in and un-lock while pushing on the handle?

If all else fails, go thru the t-top weatherstrip to the t-top handles. If you can try to get the t-top handle down go from the inside and see if you can get it open.

Good Luck,

Willcox Inc.

Sometimes just shooting WD in everywhere and working the handle and lock will loosen gunk and allow the linkage to move and unlock.

I would choose spray silicone [rather than WD-40], but either should work to loosen the binding lock mechanism enough to open it....ONE MORE TIME before you finally fix it.

Make a solid fist and pound on the t-top right where the latches are. They should fall.

If the lock lever is not 100% returned it won't open.
If the outside handle flap is not up 100% the lock lever cannot return 100%.
Its a safety thing and if the lock has a lot of wear you might have to replace it.
Here is a pic that has an arrow pointing to the lever that opens the door.

With a screwdriver push down on the lever that the arrow is pointing to and if the lock is fully off the latch should release.
