Default Headlight actuator
Went to replace my actuator today with a new one and I am getting vacum at the dust boot.It is calapsing the boot .I don't think this is supposed to happen.Could the diaphram in it be leaking and causing this?Thanx in advance.

I would think the seal is the problem. I've seen brand new ones with the seal "in" on one side thus leaving the boot trying to hold the vacuum. I just reposition the seal properly and install.
