Here's some choices from Jeg's. Some are under $300. I prefer Hedman. If I got another set, it would be with the ball-flange type collector. No more collector gaskets to change, and it would give you a little room for angle adjustment if needed:
Both Hooker Super Comps & Dynomax Cerama-Coat Headers are excellent for perf. The Dynomax Corvette SB Cerama-Coat headers fit & flow great, much better than is commonly known. I have been rec. them & many have them now.
jegs said they did not make dynomax anymore and headman said they would not clear steering. What are you guys using and did you have any problems with the fit.I would like to order a set tonight. Thank you for your help.

I dont know anything baout Dynomax being gone, as for the Hedmans, the only issue you may have is one tube hitting the idler arm, this is easily resolved with a small dimple - I know - who wants to dimple new headers - cant argue with that.
They do clear the power steering however.
I run a set of Hedmans with the emissions tubes on my car for almost a decade now, the headers look just like they did the day I installed them.
Are there headers available that match up to the exhaust without and mods?
thanks
Due to the different lengths of headers, there are none (that I know of so far) that bolt/match up to your stock exhaust......you will need a custom piece 1-2 feet long to connect to your system. Should have no problems with a '75......small block headers are listed to fit '68 to '82 Corvettes.
Mine is a 75 with Hooker Super Comps. Perfect fit, but you will have to have someone fit the rest of the exhaust for bigger pipes. I had a local Meineke guy make custom 3" pipes for mine.
Sorry for the slight thread hijack but a question for the guys running ceramic coated headers.
I notice warnings on any of Holley brand headers that it says ' do not break in an engine with new headers, it will damage the coating', any idea what they mean by this?

This is refering to a new or freshly rebuilt motor. The temps can get higher than the coating can handle.
