71 ls-5 heater
The heater in my 71 LS-5 works a little funny. Once the car is warmed up I can turn the heater on and it blows hot air as it should. After a few minutes the temperature of the air starts cooling off until its blowing air that's pretty much the same temperature as outside. What's going on here?

Usually that means low water in the rad. But could also be a vacuum issue causing the temp valve or door to close. Does it have A/C? If so, there should be a water valve on the right inner fender well, check that the vac hose has not come loose.
