Default Inside rear view bulb replacement.

Instructions next to off-on switch says: To replace bulb first remove the clear plastic lens ( this part I did ) then then squeeze side ribs and remove the lamp body. What do I squeeze?
Not sure what that means, I'm afraid to pry it with a screwdriver.

Pete,
If you want to stop by....I can take a look and help you with this. The "side ribs" may be the fastening system GM used to allow it to stay secured when installed in the housing. And squeezing them will allow the socket to be removed. It has been a long time since I have done one...but it should not be a problem.
